I can’t believe I am just now discovering Kay Cove ! I loved this book so much. It’s fake dating with a famous actor mixed with divorced single mom to help fix his image. I loved every second of this book. Chase is literally so adorable and k loved seeing the Hawaiian heritage of Noa. Immediately purchased the next book in the series. I can’t wait to read more about this friend group.

Kay Cove was a new to me author when I started this book but I really enjoyed the fun banter between her characters and the ups and downs throughout this story.

She made falling in love with someone famous a fun and interesting ride with laughs and some more hardship but also a bigger message that we all have baggage but what makes up that baggage we call life is worth the ride filled with more love than hardship.

Ive heard great things about the rest of the series and i definitely recommend this book if you’re looking for a little spice, love, some drama and a fun outlook on co-parenting/ex’s

Some TW to note: pregnancy/substance abuse

I feel like this book can literally be summed up in two words…love and ohana. This book has left me basking in happily ever after vibes. Noa and Chase are both such exceptional characters. Noa is this amazing woman and mom, and this book really hits home with me on the struggle that moms face with our own identities and making ourselves happy. Before Chase met Noa he had recently reevaluated his life and the choices he’s made, and did some self discovering so he can be a better man. The struggles that these characters go through are so relatable and make this book even more special. The storyline is phenomenal. It has the perfect level of angst, humor, and romance, and before you know it, you are completely captivated and immersed in the story. This book makes you believe that love really does conquer all and that family is what you make of it. This was such an amazing read that I highly recommend.

Well written, excellent characters and wonderful dialogue. Possibly one of the best books I’ve read in a couple of years and I read hundreds of books each year. I enjoyed this books so much that even though I borrowed it with KU I bought it 25% through. Do yourself a favor and go ahead and buy this book.
